synopsis

Who were we as a young person? Where does time meet? Cross-Cuts is about the insurmountable boundary that time draws between different phases of life, from which generations arise that each react differently to crises. One vital and free, the other hesitant and cautious. In Cross-Cuts, a younger and an older man move through a woodworking place, separately, in parallel, looking for rapprochement. Movements to the sound of wood, sometimes with the grain, sometimes crosscutting against the grain.
