synopsis
'We want to be the best. And I miss that now. We just have to be better than everyone else'.
Gert is the ambitious director of a car company in Vianen who is far ahead of his troops and uses boundless energy to encourage his employees to be the very best. No department is spared to master 'the new way of working' through numerous training sessions and endless meetings. But will he ultimately succeed in turning employee 1.0 into employee 2.0 and how does the staff cope with this increasing pressure? How does a family business survive in times of crisis? In the background, the special family relationships within the company also play a role. Senior, the founder of the company, still makes his rounds through the business every day. Gert's older brother Ton is co-owner and operates more strongly from the originally more relaxed and family atmosphere of the company.... The lives of the colorful characters in Garage 2.0 are surprisingly connected to the car. The car that brings them success, profit, progress, work and freedom. But also danger, stress, disappointment and sadness.
